About the Event
"Midcentury in the Desert" Closing Reception will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 4-7pm hosted by owner/curator Nicole Royse. The event will feature an opportunity to meet the featured artists and curator, along with light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. Royse Contemporary is excited to present "Midcentury in the Desert", a two person exhibition showcasing the photorealistic oil paintings of Cam DeCaussin and the black and white photography of Marilyn Szabo.
This exhibition reflects upon the influences and prevalence of midcentury architecture here in the desert of Arizona. Presenting masterful artwork that highlights the beauty of the architecture and desert, accentuating the artist's use of imagery, engaging style, and strong voice.
