"Opening Reception for Kim Walker's "ROOTED"

"ROOTED: In the Presence of Earth " will open to the public Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 6-9pm with a special reception for the artist. The evening will include an opportunity to meet the artist and curator, explore and shop amazing local artwork and enjoy light d'oeuves and refreshments.

Royse Contemporary presents "ROOTED: In the Presence of Earth",  a solo exhibition of botanical mixed media and poetry from artist Kim Walker. Walker utilizes abstract forms, real plant matter, and original verse to invite reflection on nature's presence, beauty, guidance, and quiet wisdom. This exhibition pulls works from the artist’s various series, showcasing a wide range collection of works centering on her mixed media paintings and sculptures.
